Our Webinar Fundamental Estimating Course is designed around a small commercial project - the same project that we use for our classroom or home study students. We cover the same material as our classroom course, just from the comfort of your office. This course is a six week class scheduled for three hours for the first session and two hours for the remaining five sessions schedule at various hours and days of the week to allow for various contractor conditions. Scheduled dates are on our course calendar registration for this class begins by clicking on the date of the class you want to enroll in, class materials will be shipped to you before the class is to start. Homework will be assigned every week up to the last week. Homework should be completed and emailed to us five days after each class session. We will review it, mark up suggestions and email the reviewed work back to you before the next class.

Our webinar course is an option which allows individuals to complete a Fundamental Estimating Class on a six week schedule from the comfort of your home or office. Once a client is registered and paid their tuition. Class materials including, textbooks, project drawings, specifications, tally counter, scaled tape measure and templates for Microsoft Word and Excel files (on disk) are mailed. We try to have this material delivered several days before the webinar sessions starts so that students will have a chance to read the text, review the files on the CD and begin to develop questions. Our local course is generally set up as a two, two day sessions over a two week period as a class room setting. Allow between four to eight hours a week for this webinar courses homework. The more time invested the better your results will be. As you can see this class allows a substantial increase in time over the local training. Motivation to complete this class is a key to this class’s success.

We make every effort to motivate our students enrolled in this class; however, it is intended for those people who are willing to commit four to eight hours a week during the six-week course. The more time invested on this material the more information you will retain. No refunds are given for those students that do not complete the class.

Homework is assigned every week up to the final week. Students completed homework is then completed then scanned into your computer and emailed to JDE & Associates for review and comments five days after each class. Generally, papers are reviewed and emailed back within one day. This review does not issue a letter grade; instead we mark up areas where we think the estimate can be improved, we also mark up areas that are exceptional. The returned assignment will benefit our students from repeating mistakes they may have occurred in the previous assignment. This will continue for five assignments and will be completed with a scope letter as one of those assignments.
